Raw material Handling Systems :
Iron Ore, Coal, Lime Stone & Dolomite are the main inputs for Steel & Power Plants. The raw material is transported by Rail & Roads. The Stacking & reclaiming of the raw material is done thru the Belt Conveyors. We design the energy efficient material handling systems for smooth processing and feeding of raw material with zero spillage. The storage silos are designed cost effectively with Concrete and Steel, for free movement of the material so that there is no time loss on account of jamming. The Conveyors are designed with a view that system should be easy to maintain and user friendly.
Water softening Plant :
RAW water entering an Industrial Plant often needs treatment to meet quality specifications to be used in specific industrial process. Industrial water is used for heating, cooling, processing, cleaning, rinsing etc. Poor quality of water lets water interact with the surfaces of pipes and vessels in the form of Scale & corrosion.
Scaling occurs when the dissolved mineral salts in the water are precipitate and deposits on the surface of the vessel & pipes. Scale is a problem because it insulates and heat exchange becomes less efficient, which waste energy.
Compressed Air System :
Compressed air is an important medium for transfer of energy in Industrial processes. Compressed is used for power tools, to operate cylinders in automation. Compressed is also widely used for instrument applications.
When Air at atmospheric pressure is compressed, it contains much more water vapor than the high pressure Air can hold. In order to separate this water from the air, system designing is done to ensure that piping maintains a slope to prevent accumulation of moisture in low parts of the piping system. Drain valves are installed at multiple points to allow trapped water to be blown out.
Piping Sizes are selected accurately to avoid excessive energy loss in the piping system due to high velocity of Air.
Fuel Oil Storage System :
For industrial application LSDA and FO are widely used. Steel Tanks are designed for storage of liquid fuel as per guide lines of Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO) Nagpur. The unloading and transfer of Oil is carried out thru unloading pumps. For highly viscous Furnace Oil, heaters are provided in the Storage tank for maintaining the flow ability of the Furnace Oil.
One of the key imperatives is safety and environment. Hence it is necessary to ensure that liquid fuel is safely stored and handled. There must be no leakage which could damage the soil or the water table. Fire protection near the fuel Storage tank is a primary consideration.
